Where have you gone, Spiderman by koosh-llama Where have you gone, Spiderman by koosh-llama
Suffice to say, #2 kicks an elephants ass more than the first one.
And here's some half-assed perspective i scribbled out in the theater that backs that up.

inspiration taken from ~cheeks-74 , because he does whatever a spider can.
(ballpoint pen, photoshop)
(spiderman (c) Stan Lee and Marvel Comics)

Nice pose and foreshortening work there. I also like how cool the webbing looks, and the angle of the background. Cool job! :D

wow......this is tattoo material right here, folks.

I LOVE SPIDERMAN!! God I wish I could draw him sssooo bad but I can't, I don't know why, but I guess I'm not very good with Marvel characters >< Have you ever drawn the Green Goblin? That'd be hella cool if you did :D

Looks like he's having fun floating about... the webbing is just perfect, and the sunset (rise?) in the background is a nice touch. :)
chunkysmurf Featured By Owner Jul 2, 2004
very cool job on the webbing. the pose looks totally natural too which is what a lot of people usually screw up on.
saoki Featured By Owner Jul 2, 2004
I mean, he just rocks. Colorful pajamas and all.... ^_^
DaleNorvell Featured By Owner Jul 2, 2004
This is pretty damn nifty! Gonna go ahead and :+fav: it! I think this being a quick sketch gives it a unique look. I saw Spidey 2 twice on opening day! *joy-gasm* I can't believe we gotta wait 3 more years for part 3. :shakefist:

Eh. I don't think it's out over here yet. The UK sucks major donkey butt. Awesome drawin' though. Dig the perspective, although the curve of the horizon makes him look like he's swinging through clouds near the o-zone layer..;P
hollyz Featured By Owner Jul 2, 2004
fackin sweeeet! I loved the second one SO much more then the
first~ although there was a bit too much of the MJ and PP love

great perspective!
keggo Featured By Owner Jul 1, 2004
i like this... but, my only criticism is since the buildings are way lower as it looks, it looks like he's shooting his web at clouds or something. i don't mean to make you mad, because, i love this! sorry.. i'll go die now... i hate criticising... especially a great artist like yourself. sorry :( I LOVE THIS PIECE! as an ode to you i shall fave this one.
koosh-llama Featured By Owner Jul 1, 2004   Filmographer
nono, you're right. i was looking at this when i finished and i was like "crap. i hope nobody notices that."
and there's nothing wrong with honest, fair criticism. IMHO there aren't enough people brave enough to give it.
keggo Featured By Owner Jul 1, 2004
heh heh... well, i love your stuff, and you're an awesome artist... but, you know how some artists take offense to criticism? i just don't know you all too well, but, you seem like a pretty modest person, which is awesome. to me, that makes you an even better artist!
skippykangaroo Featured By Owner Jul 1, 2004
WOOHOOOHOOO lookit 'im go! When I read the title in my devWatch inbox, I knew it was you. :)

I like the bold, chunky lines--they help with the perspective.
Not a crit, I'm just pointing out: he's got kind of a ladyish abdomen, doesn't he?

(we will all laugh at Spiderman now.)
koosh-llama Featured By Owner Jul 1, 2004   Filmographer
*sigh* it's true... as i was coloring i couldn't help but think "god, i gave him a girly ass. at least he's kept up his girlish figure." 8)
